Growing up in his family restaurant, Massimo Grande quickly built a love for the pizza business. He decided to expand his family's restaurant, GNA Ristorante, with a sister restaurant in West Reading. Nonno Alby's was created to bring something new to the world of pizza in Berks County. He imported a wood burning oven and sought the assistance of his sister, Tina Cirandine, and brother-in-law, Raffaele Cirandine to create the perfect menu. Nonno Alby's is named after Massimo's father, the person who first introduced him to the business, and means "Grandpa Alby" in Italian. Nonno Alby's has won the Best of Berks honor for Best Pizza three times.
