About the Author


Virgina Graham is a native of Chester County and a seventh-generation descendant of Gerhard and Mary Rittenhouse Brownback. She was born on a dairy farm and later lived for many years on a horse farm where the family recipes were used daily. All are from her collection.

She has previously written a "Township Guide of Northern Chester County" and also a "Valley Forge Coloring Book." The family cookbook was done in recognition of the 297th anniversary, 1683-1980, of the Brownback family in America.
