Affinity Desserts made its debut in May 1991, when owner and head chef Marc Laimaks opened his desserterie doors to the public in New York, New York. His passion for impeccable plating and delectable sweets fueled his desire to open a restaurant devoted solely to desserts and drinks. Since its inception in 1991, Affinity Desserts has received numerous awards, including the World Luxury Restaurant Award. Laimaks has also been awarded the ACF Pastry Chef Award in 1999 and 2013.
