I love cali burrito! its one of allentown's best local food. delicious tacos and hearty burritos and the tortilla chips! they mix them with those softer ones, perfection! I usually meet friends here for lunch cause it has such a cool vibe. i recently brought my grandparents here and they can't stop talking about how great the flavor is. My grandmother loves their salsa. The employees are extremely friendly too.

Living in the Lehigh Valley, I almost took Cali Burrito for granted. I would get the craving every once in a while, but it was never more than a short 15 minute drive away. The food kept me coming back for more, but I never really stopped to consider, "This might be the best taco I've ever had," until I introduced Cali Burrito to my friend who was blown away by the fish tacos--I'm only referring to the fish tacos when I say "the best taco I've ever had").

So after his highly rated experience here, I finally decided to leave a review. And I will just say this... Having tried fish tacos from many different places, including SoCal/San Diego, Cali Burrito's "San Diego" tacos hold a special place in my...stomach. It might be that double layer tortilla--flour on the outside, corn on the inside; the option to add pickles (I consider that a must!!); perfect crispy crunch of the deep fried pieces of fish; the mix of flour and corn tortilla chips; and/or the salsa bar. It all adds up to a delicious experience over and over.

They definitely use fresh ingredients, but the burritos are watery and bland. Much like the weekday lunch crowd. At least there were some fresh homemade (greasy) tortilla chips and some fresh homemade hot (medium) salsa to make up for it. This place is the Hootie and the Blowfish of Mexican joints. Is there a Chipotle nearby? At this point, I no longer care if they're owned by McDonald's.

They have really whole tasting foods, which means nothing tasted cheap or half assed. I loved the endless salsas available, buffet style. I got a big sur burrito. It's a lot of food, because it brings tortilla chips on the side. I could've saved some and took it home but it was too good to leave for later, who would do such blasphemy, cmooon! I tore it up! It'll send you to the bathroom some time later that day, heads up ;)..

This is the best burrito place in the region without question, and one of our favorite restaurants, period. Vegetarian and gluten-free friendly options are available for those who may need/prefer. Fish tacos and the chicken burrito/bowl are our favorites. The homemade tortilla chips and salsa options are the best.

After moving to the Lehigh Valley, my husband and I were determined to find our "go-to burrito" place (which, obviously, is a necessity!). After many attempts at other "authentic" Mexican restaurants, we were finally introduced to Cali Burrito and have yet to stray away. It has definitely become a favorite spot and we come quite often. I generally go with my usual "Old Monterey burrito "with added sour cream but everything else I have tried has been delicious especially their hand made tortilla chips which you get with every meal (and they are very generous with their serving sizes!). Love their salsa bar. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. I love the overall atmosphere of this place: it's mellow yet lively. The decor is fun. Very colorful and animated, and the music really sets the tone. It is family friendly and seems to attract a fairly diverse crowd of all ages. I mean who doesn't love a good burrito? And if your on the hunt for one, come here. You'll definitely leave feeling full (tummy and wallet) and satisfied!

I found this place when I was in college, & tried the Santa Barbara chicken taco. Love at first bite. 3 years, an extreme diet change to pescetarianism, & a move to NYC later, I have yet to find a taco joint that makes me so giddy. Every time I know I'm catching the Bieber bus to Wescosville, you can guarantee I'm headed to Cali Burrito when I get off of the bus. Vegetarian friendly yet it doesn't taste like rubber. My favorite is the San Diego taco, light on the cabbage & add in some guac. Oomph. But, really, everything I try - no matter the combination - is spot on. But also, the fresh salsa bar paired with the homemade tortilla chips are enough to take the meal above & beyond the typical chain experience. I live in freakin' New York City and have yet to find a place with identical magic. Can Cali Burrito cater my wedding some day?

I must have passed this place a hundred times, but it looked so tiny and dingy on the outside that I never gave it a chance. Tonight I went inside and wished I'd tried it a long time ago. Really GREAT TACOS and BURRITOS! Good sauces, too. The tortilla chips were not so good and they only use fried (not broiled or baked) fish for their fish tacos -- two things I hope they will improve. Much larger and cleaner on the inside than it looks on the outside, with numerous tables, decent bathrooms and a fun "surfer/reggae" decor. Very informal comfortable place with friendly service where you can bring your kids and wear anything. Prices are around $7-10/person.

Drove to Cali Burrito from St Luke's. Hospital food is grosser than gross, so I went on a food run for my wife and newborn (technically the kid is going to also eat this stuff in couple of hours). Lots of vegetarian options, I had the Nepenthe and it was very good. The falafel/pickle favors worked well in a bean, rice, and tortilla format. If I have a second kid, I'm going back to Cali Buritto!
