Built in 1825, The Peters Mountain Inn was actually Daniel Miller’s, who founded the nearby town of Millersburg founded in 1807. It was meant to be as his family's hunting cabin he would stay in during hunting seasons. Unfortunately it wasnt built until after his death. Being built onto the side of the mountain allowed for a great view over his town.
The thorough refurbishing of this lovely structure shows the careful research that went into returning it to its original state. The interior has been thoughtfully decorated with beautiful antiques. The exterior, with its white paint and welcoming front porch, is among the most attractive of the restored buildings in the valley.
