Vincenzo DiMaggio, born in Sicily, moved to America in 1979. After working five years in a pizza shop in New York, he opened Mamma’s Delight Pizza and Restaurant with a partner in 1983. In 1992, Vince became sole proprietor of Mamma’s Delight. For more than 30 years Vince and his wife, Maria, have put an immense amount of dedication and sacrifice into the pizza shop to serve Kutztown community and the University. Maria and Vinny have made Mamma’s Delight their home — providing quality food and comfortable environment for families and students. They are actively involved with the community and local schools through fundraising and other efforts, and are thankful for the community’s patronage for the past 30 years and the many years to come.
