Peyton’s Closet was originally opened in 1987 by John Wilken in Allentown, PA. A second shop was later opened in Dover, Delaware in 1989. Both shops specialize in punk rock and Indie LPs, CD’s and cassettes. In 1998, the shops were handed down to son, Thomas Wilken, who opened another shop in Camden, New Jersey. Peyton’s Closet is a small shop but it has a wide variety of music, both new and used, ranging from metal to jazz, punk rock to hip hop, soul r&b, indie, and classic rock. We’re always on the lookout for used records and CD’s, call us at anytime to set up a meeting or just walk in and experience the retro vibes.
