The DOHO's current location originally held the P&R Station which was built in 1882, and was then rebuilt after a fire in 1920.
The station was torn down in 1975, and the Douglassville Hotel was built in its place.
Today, The Douglassville Hotel prides itself on providing a welcoming atmosphere for locals and tourists alike. The restaurant seating and bar area are separated to ensure a family-friendly environment. For those at the bar, there are also two billiard tables available for endless entertainment.
