About Triton Gallery

Triton Gallery, established in 1965, is the only gallery in the world exclusively dedicated to theatrical art and posters. Located in the heart of the theatre district in New York City, the gallery houses the world’s largest collection of theatrical window cards and posters. The inventory not only includes the most current shows from Broadway, Off-Broadway and beyond, but also an extensive array of rare highly collectable items from historic and classic plays, musicals, hits and flops.
Triton Gallery has continually promoted the theatrical window card as an art form and has had long standing friendships with theatrical artists James McMullan, David Edward Byrd, Fraver, Hillary Knight, Paul Davis and Gilbert Lesser. Triton Gallery is the choice for custom framing among the professional theatrical community.
Additionally, the gallery houses an extensive archive which was established to ensure that one window card from each and every available show would be put away and preserved so that there would be an historic record of the art of the theatrical window card. The archive items are never sold; items from the archives are available through Triton Gallery’s exclusive process of photogenic reproduction.
