Hello there! I've been a professional barista for the better part of 12 years.
During my career, I've worked in coffee houses across the United States, covering
numberous roles from head barista to roaster to the store manager.
I survived on coffee as I worked toward a degree in architecture from BMCC, and I initially started working at a Starbucks as a part time job, where I realized this was what I wanted to do.
I started my real career as a barista Blue Bottle Coffee in Penn Station, New York in 2012. After a year I moved across the country to Seattle, where I started Stumptown Coffee Roasters.
I was introduced to roasting here, and after two years I became the head roaster and mechanical technician. In 2016, I moved back to NYC to work at Toby's Estate. In 2019, I co-founded Coffee Centre in
Dover Street Market, where I served as the manager until we were forced to close due to COVID-19.
Today, I'm back at Stumptown Coffee Roasters in the Ace Hotel on 29th Street, where I'm able to be a barista as well as a roaster technician.
