After our chef, Maya Erickson and her husband & Co-Owner Sean moved back to Boston in early 2013, they saw the need for a bakery that provided high quality baked goods for a community that was also in dire need. So in late 2013, Our Daily Bread opened its doors to Bostonians and customers around the world. From our inception, we are known for our unique philosophy when it comes to our fresh and local products.

We believe in supporting local farmers and shops, so at Our Daily Bread we try to use as many local and fairly traded ingredients as possible to achieve the freshest and healthiest products. What makes us stand out from all the rest, is that none of our products go to waste at the end of the day. Our owners believe in sharing the wealth and reducing waste, and are also passionate about community outreach. Also, we are empowering our customers to pay it forward because after every 25 items that are bought at Our Daily Bread, we donate our products to local homeless and veterans shelters in order to supply a health meal for those who need it most.

Come in today to help us make the world a bread-er place by supporting our local farmers and giving hope to those less fortunate!

Maya Erickson

After achieving great success on the West coast with her Michelin-starred restaurant "Lazy Bear", Maya Erickson and her husband & business partner Sean, decided it was time to switch it up and move closer to home. After settling near family in Boston, Maya and her husband saw the need for a good homegrown and local bakery for a city community that could use some help. Using Maya's talents as one of America's Top Pastry Chefs and Sean's passion for community outreach and supporting local farmers, Our Daily Bread was born. Maya loves to continually push herself out of her comfort zone and evolve her philosophy, so this new opportunity is perfect to do just that, while also providing high quality baked goods to her community.
