Harry Crowder is a twenty-year-old British fashion and portrait photographer currently living in London, England.
In 2010, at seventeen years old, Harry dropped out of the college he was attending to pursue his passion for taking photos.
Taking up part time work in retail to fund his newfound passion, he used his days off to build up his portfolio of work by taking photos of his friends.
Seven months after Harry dropped out of college, he started to be recognized in the photography industry. He was named as one of the fifty fashion photographers that were published in Ilex Publishing's "50 Fashion Photographers" book, which interviewed Harry on his early stages and his photography and light techniques. The book went onto sell throughout ten different countries in nine different languages.
As Harry's portfolio grew, so did the amount of people that were taking notice of his work. The Art Director at Vogue Magazine invited Harry up to Vogue House a day each week for two months to assess and go over his expanding portfolio.
In 2011, Harry was invited privately to actress Emma Watson's home to take photos of her. American fashion writer, editor and New York Times best selling author, Derek Blasberg - discovered these photos which were taken on a one-to-one sitting between Harry and Watson. Blasberg had the photographs published on full page spread alongside an article he wrote in renowned fashion magazine, Harper's Bazaar US.
The photos Harry shot of Emma Watson also went on to be published in Harper's Bazaar Espanol, Harper's Bazaar Thailand and Harper's Bazaar Malaysia.
Since then, Harry has been commissioned by some of the largest names in the music and fashion industry such as Sony Records, Vivienne Westwood, Moschino, Swarovski, Red Magazine, Harrods and Burberry. He has also gone on to be aired on E! News, the celebrity news channel, talking of his Harper's Bazaar spread and also his exclusive photo shoot with Emma Watson's brother, Alex Watson. On top of this, Harry has since had work featured on the BBC and Vogue Online, and has been published in Glamour Magazine, SID Magazine and Company Magazine.
Harry is currently living and working in London; he is available for collaborations, commissions commercial and non-commercial upon request.
