Conscius Vita is an invitation to full presence. Each session is approached with a quiet mind and an open heart, opening to the stillness within. I believe it is through this connection that your body remembers what it has always known, how to heal itself. Since childhood I have had a deep love and respect for the green world, playing in the mud, tasting leaves, burying my nose in flowers and working in neighbors' gardens. I stepped away and lost this connection when I began working in Corporate America. Health issues in 1998 brought about abrupt changes in my life and I embarked on a path of simplification and reconnection. Although still working a corporate job, I returned my hands to the earth, reawakening aspects of myself I had almost forgotten. I also became aware of the profound healing power of touch. My journey to recovering my health introduced me to the science and spiritual essence of nutrition and bodywork. The more I received and experienced, the more I wanted to learn and share. With the intention of integrating the benefits of diverse practices, in 2007 I obtained my bachelor's degree from Clayton College. I graduated from Health Choices Holistic Massage Institute in 2008, and I continue to train and receive certifications in complementary modalities today. 2010 brought me a deeper awareness of working with the plant kingdom, and I began my apprenticeship in herbalism from a planetary and local perspective. As a devoted life student of the healing arts, I continue to be amazed by the intuitive wisdom of our bodies and our relationship with the world in and around us. The more I learn, the more I find is left to be discovered. Official Site
