1) Users can upload a picture or choose from a library of photos - photo gets turned into an algorithm art piece - added to an overall larger art piece, have those images create a mandala or something like that.
2) Interactive message board - users follow link to submit a form, can leave an anonymous message, thought, wish, hope, dream - it gets added to the board by a visual piece of data - size and colors can be random or based on certain attributes of message.
3) Interactive coffee table - different types of coffee cups with fiducials or sensors on the bottoms - can choose coffee cup and place it on interactive “table” to learn more about it, history of the drink, how it’s made - maybe interactive questionnaire to find out what drink you’d like the best.
4) An interactive matching game where paper cups are aligned in multiple rows with images on the back, the user selects two cups and they spin around to reveal an image drawn on the back. If the two images match the user moves on until all cups are turned over.
The final Daily Data installation was in the Miller Gallery at Kutztown University for one week. During that time, we collected over 100 pieces of visual data to represent the gallery participants.
