Welcome to MyKU project Documentation Site!

The user experience of the class registration/planning/enrollment from the current student-facing portion of myKU is confusing. MyKU should be straight-forward and simple for enroll/ plan /drop courses. Here is the my optimizing process for desktop & touch-devices.
MyKU Original Website

Step 1. Analysis and Process Flow

Process Flow

First step is to do a deep analysis of the all portions of the course schedule process. I used red text to marked which process step was confused me and why.

Research

Since we cannot go other school's registration page, so I began researching websites that had good shopping experiences as the enroll/drop course process.

Step 2. Scenarios

I created 5 personas for fictional users of myku. Those people use this system with different goals.

Part 3. New Flow

I start my first draft at a revised process flow for the original site: include all features should keeping, what I will adding, and the process it would take to complete all the important tasks from the site.

Part 4. Wireframes

After the research and analysis phases, it is the time for wireframe. I began useing paper "storyboards"/wireframes of each page.

Part 5. user testing & revisions

Once the interactive mock-up was complete in uxpin, I start several times user testing to see which process still confusing people and revisions these problems.
