Mise en Scène brings together women and underrepresented communities from around the world in a bold celebration of recognition and creativity. Anyone is welcome to experience the festival.
Women once made up the majority of directors and lead roles in filmmaking. What happened? Yeah we aren't sure either. But one thing is certain. There's never a bad time to get together and celebrate the incredible work that women are doing in the industry each day. Be inspired to create and most importantly, celebrate the power of film.

This festival brings together creatives form the industry to celebrate women, from past and present, that work in the film industry behind the camera. Join us for screenings of classic films, premieres of new releases, Visit the costume & props exhibiton. For filmmakers, you can register to join the VIP lounge to network and collaborate.

We're trying something new! With the purchase of a presale ticket to the festival, you'll get access to participate in our collaborative film. Filmmking experience not necessary. This is for anyone and everyone. You'll be sent this year's "prompt" with instructions that involve submitting a 5-second clip based on your own interpretation of that prompt. We'll mash them up together and you'll get to see your work on the big screen at the premiere. We want you to be involved! No professonal equipment needed.
