Someone will open this app on their phone when they need a ride. They will enter the address they wish to go to. A self-driving vehicle will come to their exact location to pick them up. The vehicle will scan their personal ID (such as a driver’s license) or biometrics (combination of FaceID & fingerprint ID) then allow the passenger to enter the vehicle. As the vehicle enters the vicinity of the pickup location, it will begin to scan faces of those outside to try and locate the passenger. The vehicle will pick up the passenger and drive them to the specified destination.
