There are plenty of time management/to-do list apps out there but most of them had not-so-great user interfaces. Something as simple as marking a task as complete or creating a new event proved to be a difficult task. I aimed to overcome these cumbersome barriers and make an app that was both easy-to-use and linked the user up with their friends so scheduling could be easier.
Allows users to create their own categories (i.e. Concerts, meetings, interviews, whatever YOU want)
Home page will display “You have X amount of events today”
Reminds you on day of event or you can customize it to remind you whenever you want.
Clicking on a day on your calendar opens up a collapsable page of what events you have that day.
Let’s you assign levels of importance
Let’s you know if there is a conflict with any other existing events
Things can be set as daily reminders (laundry, soccer practice, working out)
Can sync up with existing schedules (your g-mail or Facebook account)
Can view compare your schedule with somebody else’s to see when you’re both available to get coffee together (no more empty promises)
Completely customizable interface - color, order of importance, reminder settings, etc.
1. You are new to TimeFly and after exploring the app you decide you want to create an account. So, create an account.
2. Not so fast! Looks like you already made an account. Proceed to the login screen and login.
3. You completely forget what you have scheduled today because you are a careless person. Quickly check what events you have planned for today.
4. You run into your high school crush, Jamie Palatino, at the grocery store. She doesn’t use TimeFly but want’s to know if you’d be free to grab coffee on Wednesday Morning. Check your schedule to make sure that your schedule is clear on Monday, June 17.
5. Great job scoring a date with your high school crush! Now create an event in your phone so you don’t forget to show up and blow your chances of a second date.
6. You run into your old pal, John B., and he said he just sent you a request to grab food sometime but you never answered. Check your notifications and accept his request.
7. You need to reschedule a dentist appointment because you scheduled a BBQ on the same day. Find your dentist appointment and their phone number to reschedule.
8. You forget how where your Dentist’s office is at & you’re not sure how to get there. Find out both of those things.
9. Your hair stylist cancelled today’s appointment. View Today’s appointments and delete your hair appointment.
10. Your old, old, OLD pal Andrew says you guys should grab dinner sometime. Find Andrew in your friends list and compare schedules to see if you guys can meet for dinner on June 19 from 6 to 8 PM.

First four prompts went off without a hitch
User made it to “Create Event” page but the button didn’t work.
When the user went to delete an appointment - she was confused because I have an event listed twice. The delete function wasn’t linked properly
User went to Andrew’s profile right away but hit “compare schedules” instead of “search by date” - once they realized that it wasn’t clickable they moved on to search by date.
BRITTANY
Sign up was a success
Login was a success
User went to compare schedules button and not the details of Today’s events
Creating Event was a success
Check schedule by date was a success
Delete button still doesn’t work
Searched date on Andrew’s profile successfully
ANDREW
Clicked the “You have X Events today” before he clicked “view Details”
Looked for BBQ in leisure category rather than click on notifications
Went to compare schedule and not appointments button
Went to “Compare Schedules” instead of Friends list - so maybe rephrase question or link Compare schedules button
User went to Appointments instead of clicking the circle with Today's events
User went to Appointments instead of creating an event from the homepage
Delete Event was linked improperly - didn't link to anything
