Stowe Ski Resort Architecture Redesign

Pain Points

- There is no place along the way to purchase a Stowe Pass
- For every new option, you have to continue to a new page, it would be easier to have all options displayed on one page in an organized spread
- Why am I searching for anexisting account when I want to make one?
- Options are too dated- pulldowns look basic, list options are too simply and not very styled
- Billing and credit card info could be on same page
- Seems like the “Assign to a Family Member” should have been done sooner if it’s that important
- If you really need a $5 Stowe Card- give the option to buy it along the way instead of having a separate page for in the ticket section at beginning

Tasks

Buy ticets for a couple who wants to go skiing for a day. The husband already has an account. They do not want to wait in line and the wife needs an Evolution Stowe Card.

An older couple and their grandkid want to hit the slopes for 2 days. The grandfather and grandkid are completely new to Stowe and need whatever they need to enter the resort ski gates.

Three 50yr old men want to ski A LOT. All of them are new to the resort and they'd like to checkout as guests.

A young college student wants to ski everyday for all of winter. They'd like to create an account so they can return next year.

A single man who loves to ski is returning to the site to reload his ESC card. He already has an account.

Results

- User doesn't seem to realise that you can add the ESC during the checkout process.

- Linking the ADD TO CART button to the shopping cart so the user knows they can continur with the checkout process would be helpful. Users don't seem to understand or notice what was added to their cart.

-User still has trouble understanding the different between ByPass and regular Tickets.
