The Honey Festival events are promotional in nature. Events involve honey tasting, live bees in an observation hive, and shameless promotions of honey.
Enter Bartram's Garden's Cooking with Honey Contest! The contest is free and open to all. All entrants may pick up a free 8 oz. jar of Bartram's Garden Wildflower Honey to use (note: it cannot be delivered).
Homebrewers of all skill levels, who have a batch of mead or a honey-beer ready – share the results of your labors with other homebrewers. You can only taste homebrews if you bring your own homebrew.
Food and Beverage sponsors have an excellent opportunity to feature their products at one or more venues during the Honey Festival.
Vendors of honey and other hive products are highly encouraged to sell their wares at the annual Philadelphia Honey Festival.
The Philadelphia Honey Festival began in 2010 to accompany the placement of an historic marker honoring Philadelphia-born Lorenzo L. Langstroth.
