Redesign of Kutztown University's
class enrollment process
1. You would like to search for CDE 10 and find Prerequisites before enrolling.
All people had no problems with searching. One felt unsure about "Details"
2. You just finished ENG 100 Reading & Writing for the Professions. You hated it, but you still need to complete your science Gen Ed. Drop ENG 100 and add GEL 10.
Users felt comfortable with "Drop & Add"
3. You want to find classes for the next semester that are only early in the day. Find CDE classes that are only 8AM and Enroll into CDE 10.
All users completed the task successfully.
4. You are not ready to enroll into CDE 10 but would like to save that class as you think about it.
Task successfully completed and were able to understand the purpose of saved courses clearly.
5. You have already created different possible schedules in your Planner and would like to compare your options. View your Schedule Plans in the weekly view.
All users liked the purpose of "Planner" and easily navigate throught the website.
6. Double check if you have all your Gens Eds completed.
All people were able to navigate through website and complete the task.
7. It is time to enroll in your classes for next semester. Your Plan A schedule is still available to enroll in. Quickly enroll into your Plan A schedule from Planner.
All users were able to complete the task smoothly.
8. You cannot remember schedule for next semester. On your phone check your current schedule in the weekly view and screenshot it.
All users were able to complete this task efficiently.
9. Your advisor would like to see the possible schedules you planned. On your phone, compare your planned schedules to show your advisor. Show your preferred Plan A in a Class List View.
Users had no issues and completed the task successfully.
10. You just finished your photography class and want to drop it. Drop photography on your phone and make sure you have enough credit to be a full-time student.

After research and planning we put our wirefames into UXPin for our first round of user testing.
From there, we used that information for our final outcome.
