Tree Theater is an experimental indie project founded by Will Carter. Will writes records and produces the music and collaborates with artists on records as well as in live performances, and is currently based in West Chester, Pennsylvania. The music is inspired by a wide pool of genres, particularly, electronic, indie, folk and soul music. Tree Theater is a predominantly instrumental music project that blends a melting-pot of genres and experimental songwriting and production.

MUSIC

Flowers (Mesin Around)

"Flowers" was written and recorded entirely in Will's parents basement in his hometown of West Chester. The track features the vocalist Brandon Mesen, a fellow West Chester native and front man of the local artist Mesen Around.

The vocal melody and lyrics were created on the spot by Mesen after just a few takes of improvising. He brings his band's signature sound and playful personality to this groovy track.

I Know (Why These Coyotes)

"I Know" is the first collaboration with front man Frank Rosato of Why These Coyote's, who wrote the soulful vocals to the instrumental from across the country in his hometown of Oakland, California.

Why These Coyote's has been playing and recording indie-alt rock for the past few years and has been a prominent influence in Will's own music. This collab was initiated on Instagram messenger. It really does go down in the DM's.
