ARENA

Release Date: March 25, 1994

Taking place across every province of Tamriel in the year 3e399 the player takes on the role of a nameless prisoner who will later go on to be known as The Eternal Champion. The player is tasked with reassembeling The Staff of Chaos to free Emperor Uriel Septim VII and oust his doupleganger usurper Jagar Tharn.

DAGGERFALL

Release Date:September 20, 1996

Taking place in the provinces of Hammerfell and Highrock in the year 3e405 the player assumes the role of The Agent around the time of an event called The Warp in the West. What starts out as a simple mission to retrieve a letter for the newly freed emperor spirals out of controls as you at attempt to lay to rest the spirit of the late King Lysandus and findstheir way into a battle for control of an ancient golem known as the Numidium.

MORROWIND

Release Date:May 1, 2002

Taking place in the province of Morrowind in the year 3e427 the player takes the role of the Nerevarine, the reincarnation of a past leader of morrowind. Following visions from the daedric prince Azura and with the aide of the tribunal, the three god kings of morrowind, the Nerevarine gathers the Tools of Kagrenac to defeat an ancient ally named Dagoth Ur and severe his connection to the Heart of Lorkhan.

OBLIVION

Release Date:March 20, 2006

Taking place in the province of Cyrodiil in the year 3e433 the player will eventually earn the title of the Hero of Kvatch and the Champion of Cyrodiil. The player having been trusted with the amulet of kings by Emperor Uriel Septim VII before being assassinated by Mythic Dawn Cultists is tasked with finding his last illegitimate heir, a priest of Akatosh named Martin. From there the hero aids Martin's efforts to stop the Mythic Dawn's attempts to bring their god Mehrunes Dagon into Nirn.

SKYRIM

Release Date:November 11, 2011

Taking place in the province of Skyrim in the year 4e201 the player takes the role of a mythic Nordic and Imperial figure called the Dragonborn, with the power to absorb the souls of dragons and an innate talent for a power called the Voice or Thu'um. A nameless criminal caught in the crosshairs of a civil war the Dragonborn is to be executed but this is brought to a halt when the village is attacked by the Dragonborns ancient rival Alduin.
